The Design Process ( The Drawings )

The design process should be more than just providing drawings.  An architect would have a brief of requirements discussed and agreed with the client.  The architect would then look at the space planning, aesthetics, historical and environmental context.  The architect should also consider the local and national planning restrictions, methods of construction, building regulations and other legal restrictions.  The architect would also need to advise the client of other areas of development law, such as party wall legislation, covenants, health & safety, etc.  These all have an impact on how the design and design parameters will generate the final building,  i.e:  Getting it Built !!!
