Kitchens & Bathrooms:

Every home must have a room to cook and wash.  Regulations will cover the services requirements of these spaces. Currently kitchens are designed with open plan living and dining areas and are social “hubs” of the home. If possible, the open plan kitchen is on the ground floor facing the rear garden and in conjunction with large opening multi-folding doors the kitchen, dining and living experience is extended to and is part of the garden areas.  Bathrooms, shower rooms and toilets are considered to be rooms that can have a fashion and design statement and can become places with attractive fittings and finishes that make them more than just functional rooms.
