The Circulation:

The circulation areas are important features of any building.  They can be defined as entrance spaces, hallways, stairs escalators and elevators (lifts to you and I). Every building must have an entrance, otherwise we can not get in. It is the articulation of the design of these entrances that can make or break the final architectural outcome. It is from these entrances, entrance lobbies and vestibules that other routes that guide us to other areas of the building. We can make these circulation routes functional or pleasant, dark or light.  We can move upwards or downwards with vertical circulation via stairs, lifts or escalators.  We can make the journey a route to be enjoyed or to be quickly dealt with !!!
